Summit Internship OVERVIEW
The Summit Internship Program is an on-the-field missions program providing participants with hands-on ministry training. This program is designed for individuals whose passion for overseas missions stretches beyond short-term trips and who desire a longer-term experience. Whether you relocate back home to advance the Kingdom, or serve as a long-term missionary overseas, this program is for you! |

Build
Community: Build lifelong friendships and learn what it means to stir up one another to love and good works (Hebrews 10:24).
Cross-Cultural Missions: Experience ministry in a broad range of contexts and cultures in the melting pot of Cape Town with its beautiful landscape and diverse culture.
Identify Your Strengths: Discover your God-given strengths and learn how to leverage them to fulfill the Great Commission in your personal life and profession.
Develop
Spiritual Growth: Invest in your relationship with God and reach new depths in your walk with Him as you live, minister, and learn with other like-minded young adults.
Training: Receive training and teaching on subjects that will develop your leadership skills, evangelism skills, and call you to a higher level of maturity.
Leadership Opportunities: Stretch your faith as you lead in various contexts within the program and in ministry, serving at youth camps, on short-term trips, and in the way you live your life with integrity.
Grow
Ministry Outreach: You will learn to effectively share the Gospel, your faith/testimony and disciple individuals you meet in communities around Cape Town.
Department-Specific Ministry: Based upon your unique gifts, talents and skills you will have the opportunity to serve directly within various serving opportunities within Reach Africa and Scripture Union.
Empowering Your Next Steps: Seek the Lord about His specific call on your life and graduate from the program with a vision for your future and the map to get there.
Internship Details
Summit Internship: 2022
Our Summit Internship Program is a 3, 6 or 10-month vibrant cross-cultural global internship designed to provide the education and real-life experience that students need to discover their calling, develop their faith, & deploy their God-given vision while making a difference in the lives of others.
Students will discover ways to integrate their faith through practical hands on training and experience. Not only will you make a difference in the lives of others, but you will see God grow your skills and expertise that will prepare you for the road ahead. Become the leader that God has created you to be!
The Summit Internship is available to University students and/or mature young adults between the ages of 18-24.
Arrival dates to be decided depending on length of trip.
Amount to be fundraised:
3 Month Summit Internship: $3,500 (includes room/board all fun-day activities, does not include international airfare, personal spending money or incidentals)
6 Month Summit Internship: $ 6,000 (includes room/board all fun-day activities, does not include international airfare, personal spending money or incidentals)
10 Month Summit Internship: $9,500 (includes room/board all fun-day activities. does not include international airfare, personal spending money or incidentals)
